Waking up smiling, Lilith got herself dressed for the day. She made a mental note to always have that smile no matter how bad the day might go.
Lilith bid her two guardians goodbye and left the cave. Her bag hit her back as she strode to her pals. Usually, Lilith takes her own wagon to the hollow. Not today though. Berry greeted as Lilith got in the wagon belonged to Alvin. Alvin, who was behind the wheel pointed out that the weather should be good for the day and the conversation drifted to subjects that are unfamiliar for Lilith.
Barely listening to the two, Lilith got herself absorbed in her own thoughts. She planned about what she could and would do for the rest of the day and part of the night. She will need to travel far today. So much for some knowledge. Knowledge for her to get license.
Alvin and Berry are classmates. They went off to their class after getting the wagon a good spot.Lilith on the other hand, lingered a little while before entering hers. It was almost full house today. Only a few of her classmates weren’t there. She greeted and asked one of them about the class with Coach Ho later today. The day went by like a blur. It was suddenly already after school. Again, Lilith took long strides as to reach her coach’s place on time. It took her almost an hour to reach. It felt unusually quiet. Not many was there.
It was almost twilight when the class ended. The journey back was very uncomfortable. Folks of all sorts travel home at the same time resulting to suffocation and fiery. Sigh. Lilith got herself squished in between people and the door of the wagon.
Nice. As it was reaching the hollow, the wagon slowed down a notch.
Walking back in the dark was not the best idea. Lilith’s two guardians waited as she got off the wagon.
